McGrain added to OFHS Athletic Hall of Fame

On October 22, Bill McGrain was the latest member of the bulldog wrestling program to be added to the Athletic Hall of Fame. McGrain goes down as the winningest coach in the illustrious history of Olmsted Falls Wrestling. He ended his career with a record 321 wins and a .863 winning percentage, both records at Olmsted Falls. McGrain also compiled twelve top 10 state finishes, he coached 76 State Qualifiers, 45 State Place finishers, and 7 individual State champions. Coach McGrain is one of 3 coaches in the state of Ohio history to have coached a state champion in all 3 divisions. He is also the winningest coach in SWC history winning 13 SWC titles, and was voted as SWC coach of the year 14 times. He has been selected 3-times as Greater Cleveland Coach of the Year, was selected as Ohio Division II Coach of the Year in 1997, and was elected into the Ohio Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2006.
